Our sequential shifters are a work in progress for a long time now. Several units were tested and redesigned, due to the need for a high quality product. To be honest we already should have them on the market by now, but we will only start selling them when even the smallest issue is sorted and solved.
We have two main versions:
- Cable operated: At the moment, this version is designed to fit some of the VW group cars (VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda) and will have a kit to suit Peugeot gearboxes too.
This system can be a direct fit in the original gearlever assembling attaching points, but also allows some kind of freedom to assemble the package in other places, as long as the push-pull cables length allow it.
This version uses standard and original cables. Just bolt, connect the cables and it’s ready to run.
- Type 9 gearbox: This version is a truly “plug and play” system. You only need to disconnect the original gearlever, bolt on the sequential command assembly and it’s ready. Following the same exact principals, we are developing variants of this command for the Toyota T50 gearbox, the Ford T5 and the Mazda MX5 unit.
We will release these last versions depending on public interest.
If you are interested to be one of the first to test the pre-production units, they will be sold at a very low price, as long as continuous feedback and correct usage is done.
We want to know how they will cope with race or road use in as many different cars as possible. We still do not have a time table for them to be ready, so, if you are interested, please let us know. A limited number of units will be available for this.
Prices to be released soon.
